A longtime Winchester resident and co-owner, Gail is the woman who started it all. Growing up, her grandfather owned a summer camp in Holliston and she was always inspired to follow in his footsteps. After years of working in high tech for brands like Microsoft and EMC, she found herself wishing for a career change. Looking to her hometown, she hoped to bring something creative and fun to connect the community. And thus Studio on the Common was born!

Sister and the Ying to Gail's Yang. She is our beloved Store Manager/Buyer who is always on the lookout for new and amazing finds for our gift boutique. Her extensive background in HR Management and Recruitment for big brands like Hewlett Packard, Pepsi, and GE Capital, coupled with retail sales experience at Stonewall Kitchen and Pandora speak to her strong customer service and sales strengths. Cathy loves getting to know her customers to provide the best shopping experience.

Daniela Hyacinthe, Studio Arts Teacher for Studio on the Common's Art Studio and Birthday Party Host in Winchester, Massachusetts.

Daniela Hyacinthe

Daniela Hyacinthe is a licensed mental health counselor that specializes in art therapy. She graduated from Lesley University in 2017 and has since then used creativity, whimsy and collaboration in her work with children and families alike. With the belief that art can support self-image, social skills and emotional expression, it is a powerful force she uses both in her personal and professional life.

Eda French, Virtual Art Teacher for Studio on the Common's online art courses for adults and children.

Eda “Edamame” French

Eda French holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Born and raised in Portland, Maine, Eda comes from a family of artists; her mother an illustrator and her father a photographer. Eda is our extraordinary virtual art teacher. Outside of teaching for the studio, Eda is a practicing illustrator creating colorful and vibrant work in both traditional and digital mediums.
